Students in grades one to eight have regularly scheduled computer classes for formal computer literacy instruction throughout the week. Students use technology to collaborate, create, and construct learning using 21st Century Skills in the context of various content area classes.

Computer lessons are created to teach New Jersey Computer Literacy Core Content Curriculum standards as well as to reinforce content taught in the various subject areas. Classroom and content area teachers collaborate with me to create lessons that infuse technology into the various content areas. In this way computers are used as a tool to enhance classroom learning. As a result, students spend additional time exploring the content area subject while they are learning computer literacy skills in the computer lab.

Students in grades one through four have a forty-minute computer literacy lesson once per week in the computer lab. Grades five, six, seven, and eight have computer class four days per week for forty minutes.
