I am looking forward to a fun year of problem-solving, learning from one another, and hands-on exploration of scientific phenomena.  Thomas Alva Edison once said, "I have not failed, I have just found 10,000 ways that do not work." In our classroom, we will discover that the study of science allows not just for intellectual growth, but for personal discovery.
 

A Successful Science Student: 

• Will enter our science classroom ready to learn with an open mind and a smile.

• Will use their student agendas to mark down important dates (tests, quizzes, homework assignments, and lab projects) 

• Will keep an organized notebook where we will develop hypotheses, record our discoveries, and answer the Big Questions of each lesson

• Will remember to show respect for themselves, their classmates, their teacher, and all living and non-living things
  

• Will check Google Classroom when they are absent for homework, missed notes, and other relevant announcements
  
  

Above all, a successful student will not be afraid to ask for help.

Office Hours UPDATED:  I will be available for extra help after school on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 1500 to 1530, with morning help by appointment only.  Students who are interested in making an appointment should see me two days in advance. 

There will be no availabilty on Tuesdays (S.A.D.D.) and Wednesdays (Robotics).
