    PreK:

    Week 1: Find interesting shaped objects around your house. Trace them on a piece of paper creating a design or pattern, fill the page and add color.

    Week 2: Using the three primary colors (red, yellow and blue) color a paper towel. Try not to overlap colors and fill the paper towel. Spray with water and 

    watch the secondary colors appear (orange, green and purple)

    Week 3: Find objects with texture (leaf, placemat, rough tile etc.) place a piece of paper over the object, hold a crayon sideways and rub. You will see the texture

    appear on the paper! Rub with several different textures and use different colors.

    4/6/20 Create a card for a holiday you make up. You can make it a silly  holiday such as; Popcorn Day, Ice Cream Day. You fold a piece of paper to look like a card create your holiday and celebrate! Do not forget to add color to your card.

    Week 4/20/20 Paper plate sun. Paint a paper plate yellow. Using different color contruction paper draw then cut out triangles for the rays of the sun. When the paint is dry draw a happy sun face on the plate. Glue the triangles around the plate.

    Week 3: Watch the video Giraffes Can't Dance video. Go to the mirror and do a little dance! Watch how your body moves. Then draw a picture of Gerald dancing

    and add a background. It will be easier to draw if you pause the video and copy what Gerald looks like.

    Week 4/20/20 Cut a paper plate in half, paint it brown for the bird's nest. Using construction paper create the birds (see example). Glue the birds in the nest.

    parallel to the top of your building. Add trim, clocks, things on the roof etc. Make your windows and doors fancy add detail. Add color.
