    Internet Safety

     
     

     

    Internet Safety is an important concept taught in Netcong School's computer literacy classes.  Students are taught to protect themselves by never giving out personal information without parental permission.  This includes pictures and other "clues."

    Students are also taught that there may be unsafe people on the internet.  They are taught that they have the right to say no to anyone that makes them feel uncomfortable.  They should end the conversation and tell their parents or another trusted adult.
     
    It is important for families to discuss internet safety.  The parent links to the left provide information as to the internet safety content that your child is learning.  The student links provide reinforcement for the lessons learned in class.
