Pre-School Registration

Pre-school enrollment for 2026-27 has been expanded.  We will be offering a number of seats at Netcong Elementary School and at First Impressions located at 19 Linden Ave., Stanhope, NJ 07874. Pre-school is a 6-hour program that runs Monday through Friday and is free of charge.  Specific hours will be forthcoming.  Before and after care may be available at First Impressions for a fee.  Please check with First Impressions for availability and cost. If you would like to have your child attend Preschool at First Impressions, you must indicate that on the registration form.  If we have more applicants than seats at either location, we will hold a lottery.  If a lottery is necessary, you will be notified of the time and place.  Participants are welcome to attend the lottery drawing.  You must complete the online registration form on or before the closing date and meet the requirements below to be eligible for a seat.  Students who are currently enrolled as 3-year-olds in our Pre-school program do not need to apply.  They will be automatically registered for the 2026–27 school year.  Please refer to the dates and instructions at the bottom of the page before you complete the online registration form.

Pre-School  Requirements:  Prospective students must be 3 or 4 years old on or before October 1, 2026, and a Netcong resident to be eligible to apply.  Successful applicants will be notified and required to provide the following: your child’s original birth certificate or a current passport, vaccination records and two proofs of residency.  Your application will not be processed until these documents are submitted.

Pre-School Registration will be available February 9, 2026 - February 27, 2026

Kindergarten Registration will be available February 9, 2026- March 9, 2026

Kindergarten Registration

All children who are Netcong residents and will be 5 years old on or before October 1, 2026 are eligible to attend Kindergarten at Netcong Elementary School.  Students currently enrolled in Preschool as a 4 year old at Netcong Elementary School should not complete a registration form.  They will be automatically enrolled in Kindergarten.  Please refer to the dates and instructions at the bottom of the page before you complete the online registration form.

Pre-School Lottery Drawing: To Be Determined

Once your online registration is complete, please call Mrs. Sanchez at 973.347.0020 ext. 501 after February 27th to make an appointment to provide your child’s original birth certificate or current passport, vaccination records and two proofs of residency.  Your application will not be processed until these documents are submitted.
