  • Board Position Available

    The Netcong Board of Education has an unexpected trustee vacancy. Mr. Shawn Bates was sworn in to fill a three-year term in January 2018. He served for 8 months before resigning. The Board thanks Mr. Bates for his service to the Netcong School community. 

    The Netcong Board of Education will be accepting letters of interest for any person wishing to fill the vacancy left by Mr. Bate's resignation. The Board will interview interested candidates at its regularly scheduled meeting on September 25th, 2018 in the Netcong School Library.

    All letters of interest should be submitted to Mr. James Olobardi, Board Secretary, at jolobardi@netcongschool.org no later than 4 p.m. on September 21st, 2018. The successful candidate will be appointed at the end of the September 25th meeting and serve until reorganization January 2020.

    As required by law, the successful candidate must submit and pass a criminal background and finger print check within 30 days of appointment.

    Netcong School District has accepted students to the Interdistrict Public School Choice Program for the 2019-2020 school year! We are creating a Wait List for next year, as well.
